  Ate in the restaurant. The dining area is clean, tidy and well presented. Upon entering the restaurant, you'd believe this would be an excellent establishment. However, the food was an utter disappointment. The fish and chips was the worst I've ever had. The "Artisan Bread with Dips" entree for $18 was barely worth $2. Arriving on a chopping board was 2 very tiny smidgens of Coles brand dips along with 4 slices of bread (probably from the Coles bakery too). A serious waste of money. Do yourself a favour and visit the "Daylesford Hotel" across the road for a much better experience.

  Review of restaurant only: Overpriced for what it is. Ordered crispy pork belly, crackling was cold and the apple slaw was an odd addition as it was cold and creamy and didn't match well with the roast pork. A traditional apple sauce would have been much better. Presented neatly but missed the mark in several places. Artisan bread plate was a joke at $18, comprising 4 pieces of toasted bread and two spoonfuls of dip that seemed suspiciously supermarkety. A few measly grisini thrown on top, don't waste your money.
